An application to have restrictions on how late drinkers at a Richmond pub can stay in its garden and how early deliveries can be made has been delayed until Thursday.

The Waterman’s Arms, in Richmond, had received complaints from residents regarding noise pollution from customers and live music.

Applicants had aimed to have the council impose a limit of 9pm on drinking on outside tables and 11pm for live music.

They also sought all deliveries to take place no earlier than 8am and no later than 9.30pm.

The licensing sub-committee was due to sit on Monday, July 18 but Councillor Petra Sale, who sits on the panel, said the applicant had to defer.
