A new primary free school has offered its first places to reception children to start in September.
Deer Park School, which will open on a temporary site for the next academic year, hopes to eventually move into London House in Lower Mortlake Road.
Alison Colenso, who takes up the post of headteacher at Deer Park School in May, said: "We have been greatly encouraged that so many families share our vision for a first-class school for the local community.
"The funding agreement for Deer Park School has now been signed by the secretary of state for education and we have been overwhelmed by the responses we received to our recruitment campaign for teaching staff."
The school's full staffing team will be announced in due course.
Parents who want to add their child to the waiting list for a reception place should visit deerparkschool.org.uk.
