A paedophile from Richmond will be sentenced after admitting seven counts of downloading pornographic images of children.
James Connor, 37, of North Road, appeared at Kingston Crown Court via prison video link from Littlehey Prison, Cambridgeshire, on Wednesday, October 22.
He pleaded guilty to six charges of making indecent images of a child between July 1, 2010, and June 5, 2014 as well as a further charge concerning 321 indecent images of minors.
The offending images ranged from category A, the most serious, to category C.
The images were recovered from a memory stick, which was returned to Connor after he served a previous custodial sentence, with staff unaware what it contained, the court heard.
Connor previously served six years imprisonment abroad for another offence, the court heard.
He will be sentenced at Kingston Crown Court, again via video link, on December 5.
